Shipping policy

Detail Boutique ("we" and "us") is the operator of (https://www.detailtheboutique.com) ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website, you will be agreeing to the shipping terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

1. General
Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfill the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the back-ordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.

2. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer. Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you refuse any shipments from www.detailtheboutique.com, you will be held responsible for the original shipping charges, plus the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. 

3. Shipping Details                                                                                            Detail Boutique processes all orders using the United States Postal Service (USPS). Priority /Free Shipping orders are processed within 2-3 business days from the date of purchase. Orders placed on the holidays and/or weekends will be processed the next business day. Our warehouse operates Monday - Friday during standard business hours (8am-5pm), except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

4. Delivery Terms
In general, Domestic, Priority, and Free Shipping is 5 to 7 Business Days (in transit approx 2-7 days). If within the United States, your order should be received within a week (5 to 7 business days). Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link via email within 24 hours from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.

5. Express Shipping                                                                                                 In general Express Shipping is 1 to 2 business days. 
If your order is placed Monday - Friday by 12 PM EST, your order will be processed and shipped the same day. You can expect to receive your purchase the next day; unless you live in a 2- day area Express Mail Area. (Contact your local post office to check your area). Shipping and Handling Fees vary for Express Orders; please utilize the shipping calculator for the exact amount.

6. Transit time Internationally
Generally, orders shipped Priority internationally are in transit for 4 - 22 days. This varies greatly depending on the courier you have selected. We are able to offer a more specific estimate when you are choosing your courier at checkout. International Express Shipping 3 to 7 Business Days. 

7. Address Verification
Due to cardholder security all purchases must be shipped to the credit card billing address, we do not ship to alternate addresses. To avoid cancellation of your order, the billing and shipping address must be the same. Any attempts to utilize a different address will result in a pending authorization. This pending authorization will automatically be refunded within 5 to 7 business days and your order will not be processed. If we are unable to verify your address using the USPS tracking system, your order processing may be delayed. Please use the same formatting that the USPS uses when delivering your mail. Include apartment or suite numbers with correct zip code and city.  

8. P.O. Box Shipping
Detail Boutique will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer couriers services to these locations.

9. Military/AFO/FPO Address Shipping
We are able to ship to military addresses using USPS. We are unable to offer this service using courier services. For APO/FPO addresses, typically your items will arrive within 1-2 weeks (business days) after processing. 

10. Duties & Taxes Sales                                                                                    Tax has already been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website. Detail Boutique can not anticipate the costs of import duties and taxes for international shipments and will not be able to reimburse you for any additional fees incurred. Prior to placing an order internationally, please contact your local customs office, or U.S. Postal Service branch office, to find out what types of fees you can expect.

11. Items Out Of Stock
If an item is out of stock, we will dispatch the in-stock items immediately and send the remaining items once they return to stock or cancel & refund out of stock items and ship remaining items in order per customer request. 

12. Delivery Time Exceeded
If delivery time has exceeded the estimated time of arrival (ETA), please contact us via detaitheboutique@yahoo.com so that we can conduct an investigation. 

13. Parcels Damaged In Transit
Upon receipt, please inspect your order immediately. If you find a parcel is defective or damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and contact us at detailtheboutique@yahoo.com within 48 hours. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service with next steps. We will not make any exceptions once you have had the merchandise in your care for a longer period, have washed it, if items been worn, or clothing tags have been removed. Every item is inspected upon receiving items in our warehouse and prior to packaging & delivery. We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim. 

14. Cancellations
If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy. Return shipping will be paid at the customers expense and will be required to arrange their own shipping. Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be processed to store credit for a future purchase. We will notify you once this has been completed through email. (Detail Boutique) will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid.

15. Refused Packages
If your package refused or return from USPS; you're responsible for the shipping cost to re-ship package. Detail Boutique does not issue refunds on shipping cost.

16. Lost Packages
Detail Boutique is not responsible for lost packages due to USPS error and does not issue refunds for lost items. Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier.

17. All orders will require signature upon delivery
To confirm that your order is delivered to the correct address and recipient, please ensure your address is entered accurately. If the package is returned to us as non-deliverable, we will issue a store credit for the net price of your item(s) minus the shipping charge.
